SOE is hosting ten undergraduate art interns across our studios this summer.* Teams throughout the company evaluated and selected the students below from the many outstanding applications and portfolios submitted. This summer’s interns come from*Art Institute of California-San Diego (http://www.artinstitutes.edu/sandiego/CareerServices/), Brigham Young University (http://animation.byu.edu/), Laguna College of Art and Design (http://www.lagunacollege.edu/), Art Institute of Phoenix (http://www.artinstitutes.edu/phoenix/), University of Colorado-Denver (http://www.ucdenver.edu/Pages/UCDWelcomePage.aspx) and*Indiana University-Purdue University (http://www.iupui.edu/%C2%A0). During their 10 week paid internships they will be working with an assigned senior artist mentor on assets involving illustration and concept art, character art, rigging, animation, environment art, and UI elements. *Two of the artists have participated in the SOE Mentor program with Art Institute (where students get to work on SOE themed projects based on EverQuest II and Free Realms), our Austin intern is returning for a second summer, and two are SOE G.I.R.L. (http://www.soe.com/girl/) scholarship award winners. *We are looking forward to working with such a great group of new talent this summer and having them contribute to both our live and in-development titles!
