So got hit by some gnomish implosion thing, was that because a cursed individual didn't get away in time, or is that something totally different we have to watch out for. If it is cause of the curse, where did you have the person who was cursed run to? - for the strat of tanking adds outside and everyone ranged from the doorway. Also, did you just wait when he ported too far in room, or move back and forth.
You can keep a few big ranged dps on Fitz and he still drops pretty quick. You can easily have your melee damage on the adds he spawns in the final room and still have enough dps to do it both ways. No sense in wasting your bards or melee dps on ranged tbh.
What kind of Ranged DPS would you need to burn him down like that?
Is it possible to kill adds and then switch to range? Or are the adds just too tough ?
Anything with regards to the adds that one would need to watch out for (AE / curses / ect.)
our guild had problems with Fitzpizzle for a while, untill we tried a new strat. What we did is we just ranged Fitz the whole fight and had no body on him. Everyone stayed just at the entrance to the 4th room and the tanks were just out side the door and held all the adds there as they came, The rest of the raid then ranged the heck out of fitz and he went down pretty quick, and the fight went very smooth. got him on second pull. So if you are having problems with other ways give this way a shot, it might work out for you.
This Fight is doable with only two tanks (making sure everyone has sig focus on besides the tanks), have an AOE tank (Zerker Preferred for my guild) and any other tank on the name, we have the Zerker tank the adds where that the name stands originally b/f the fight and the pull adds to him, as long ppl are paying attention easy win
