White: 50% Damage Reduction
Blue: 50% Damage Reduction
Red: Mem/Hate Shuffle

Only killing the red causes the golems to repop.

Pull Oligar to the Left room, burn.
Kill Golem when it pops.
Move Oligar to the center.
Burn the center golem.
Burn Oligar.
Ignore the red golem and snap hate back when he mem shuffles.
If Oligar calls your name, joust out 10 meters, count about 7-8 seconds and then come back in.

HM is exactly the same except he hits harder and the mem shuffle has a built in mechanic to make it more difficult to reacquire hate. Curing the curse on the tombstone ONLY works if you move away from it. The curse will repulse right back onto everyone if you do not move. Either ignore the tombstone and heal/burn through it or pick 4 spots in the room and move between them when the tombstone pops with everyone on Oligars ass. If you have low DPS/HPS, its best to move. If you have a LOT of burn, ignore them. If you can do about 8 million or more raidwide, you should be able to ignore the tombstones.

Also remember that Oligar HM has a higher crit avoidance than normal mode. Tanks breaking out their old intercede ability to use immediately when Oligar mem shuffles will also give a little more breathing room before he kills the person he shuffled to.

The white and blue give 50% damage reduction each to oligar, 100% with the two up.
The red one give the memwipe to Oligar.

shoot the white and blue and burn oligar while over healing through the Memwipe.

same thing with the HM , just some tombstone who give curse but you heal through also , or cure curse directly on the tombstone

My guild just killed this guy in EM for the first time last night. We took down the white golem and burned through the mem shuffle.

We experimented a little bit first. He is still invincible with just the red golem down. Taking out the white golem removes most of the damage reduction. With both red and white down, they respawned. With just white down, they did not respawn. I still don't know how blue affects the fight, as we ignored it.

What it seems like to us is that if you cure the curse while players have moved too far away from it, it doesn't register that they were hit by that specific tombstone.

If you cure the tombstone with 20 players standing on top of it, when those 20 move off over 10 meters away, the curse instantly drops. Those people who got hit and got out of range too early are stuck with it. This also won't work if there are 2 tombstones up and you got hit by the opposite one that was cured.

We did some testing with a tombstone that was up right after Oligar died, and players that were near the tombstone when it was cured could actually back out, have it auto-cured, step back in, get cursed, step out again and auto-cure again.

It seems to pulse a proximity curse check and cure based off of that once the tombstone has been cured.

Can you provide some details on the cure curse on the tombstone? We've killed HM Oligar a few times but we just blast our way through and hope everyone avoids the tombstones enough not to get cursed but they usually don't. We tried curing the curse on the tombstones last night and it didn't really seem to work, at least sometimes it looked like it worked better than others but not completely on those better times (like three were left with the curse, etc.)

We were trying to cure curse immediately on the tombstone when it dropped while moving away from it bu are we missing something? I'm not sure how the moving to the next golem plays into this.

Thanks!
